Office Policies

We encourage all patients to review the office policies below to help ensure a smooth and respectful experience for our patients and staff.

Patient Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone, Coastal Women’s kindly asks patients to avoid behaviors that might disrupt their care or affect the safety of others. This includes using respectful language, following treatment and payment plans, and avoiding threats of any kind. Following these responsibilities helps ensure we can continue caring for you.

Appointment Reminders

You’ll receive appointment reminders by phone, text, and email. Please make sure we have your most up-to-date contact information to make sure you don’t miss any notifications.

No Shows

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Multiple missed appointments without notice may result in discharge from our practice.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to see you, but your appointment may need to be rescheduled to avoid delays for other patients.

Visitor and Children Policy

We welcome patients to bring one family member or partner to their appointments.

Illness

If you’re experiencing respiratory symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19, influenza, or RSV and have an upcoming appointment, please notify our office. We’ll reschedule your visit for at least five days after your symptoms start—or five days from your positive test if you don’t have symptoms.
