Dr. Worster enjoys both Obstetrics and Gynecology with equal enthusiasm: “I will never forget my first delivery. It was a life-changing experience, a rush, a joy!” In Obstetrics, she loves assisting in fertility and caring for the pregnant woman through “delivery and life.” Her gynecology specialty is bleeding abnormalities and treating them through minimally invasive surgery. After 15 years in practice with three young children, Dr. Worster knows that “work/home/life balance can be a challenge for all women, no matter their situation.” She encourages all her patients to “be present, be in the moment, be mindful, and take time for yourself.”
Dr. Worster lives in Portland, Maine, with her husband and children. Originally from Jackman, Maine, she loves spending time in the Moosehead Lake region hiking, kayaking and fly-fishing with her family.
There is a magical connection to my patients that I cherish. We have been pregnant together, had children together and are now raising young children together.
