Dr. Dane first developed an interest in women’s health while she was pursing her masters degree in public health and her passion developed throughout medical school and residency. She chose OB/GYN for the variety of the field and for the opportunity to care for women at all stages of life- she is especially interested in fertility care and family planning. She loves the opportunity to learn from every patient she meets and to hear their stories. Her goal is to ensure that her patients feel heard and supported in their care through every stage of life.
Dr. Dane grew up in Portland, OR, but is ecstatic that her path led her across the country to Portland, ME! In her time off, she can be found drinking coffee, eating, hiking, camping, cross country skiing, and enjoying time with her friends and family. She loves to explore all the nature and charm that Maine has to offer with her husband Tim and their daughter Adaline.
I believe in providing compassionate care right in the community where my patients live. It is my priority to ensure that patients feel comfortable and safe accessing OB/GYN care at any stage of their lives.
